History

On January 8, 2002 the Multicultural Student Center (MSC) was established on the campus of the University of Central Florida. The MSC is an office dedicated to all students. Come create cultural awareness through new and exciting events and meet new people and learn about new cultures. Throughout the years we have established a few staple programs which include Taste of UCF, World AIDS Day, Women’s History Month, MLK Celebration, and a Cultural Dance Series.

Mission Statement

The Multicultural Student Center (MSC) will help facilitate the inclusive shared learning experience for all UCF Knights. We will promote an environment that acknowledges respects, enhances, and celebrates all aspects of culture. Through intentional programming, with Student Organizations, and the UCF community, we will encourage the educational exploration of multiculturalism, engage in dialogue, challenge assumptions and barriers, and work with the surrounding community to support and build collaborative relationships across the University.
